We have embraced technology to create efficiencies, conveniences, and increased access for our clients so that we can focus on you! We use nationally recognized exercise software so you always have a paper or digital copy of your homework that clearly delineates what you are supposed to be doing. We also offer virtual care on a secure platform designed specifically for healthcare.  

Wherever possible, we want physiotherapy to be feasible for you. We work with you to design a physiotherapy program that is respectful of time, finances, and equipment constraints.

Meet Your Physio:  Corey Ireland

Corey is the only physiotherapist in Windsor-Essex County with the combined qualifications of being an internationally recognized CAMPT-Certified Manual Therapist and pelvic health therapist for men and women at all stages of their life, as well as children. She has additional certifications and training in Integrated Dry Needling, acupuncture, chronic pain, and jaw dysfunction.

 She truly enjoys listening to her clients and incorporating exercise, manual therapy, and needling for a comprehensive, multi-modal, active physiotherapy experience.  She believes in taking the time to globally understand her clients and their injury to correctly identify the root of the problem in order to have a successful recovery.

Corey has a vision for what physiotherapy looks like in Windsor-Essex County, and this is modeled at Ireland Manual Physiotherapy. Her clients do not ‘get,’ but, instead they ‘do’ physiotherapy.  She is committed to advocating for the profession and raising the bar for the current accepted standard of care. Not only is she invested in helping her clients get back to their best self, she is invested in helping other physiotherapists grow into aptly capable, esteemed leaders in the profession of physiotherapy.

Meet Your Physio:  Stephanie Rhea

Stephanie has spent more than twenty years working in Essex County. She became credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of spinal and peripheral injuries by the McKenzie Institute in 2000. Additionally, Stephanie has received accreditation in Integrated Dry Needling as of 2019.

Stephanie believes that being an effective physiotherapist means being a life-long learner. She has taken numerous post-graduate courses in manual therapy, correction of muscle imbalances, sports as well as myofascial release, acupuncture, breast cancer treatment, care of jaw pain and disorders, gait assessment and foot injuries, and many other courses. She is our in-house certified bike fitter and she is also a GLA:D Canada hip and knee osteoarthritis program instructor.

Stephanie is passionate about providing quality hands-on, individualized care for each clients. Utilizing the combined approaches of manual therapy and exercise prescription in addition to any other tools required to give you an edge.

She is a strong advocate for being and remaining active throughout your life and makes it her goal to get you back into the “game” as quickly as possible. Personally, she stays active cycling, mountain biking, running, kayaking and adventure racing.

Meet Your Physio: 

Steven Georges

Steve loved and played sports all his life, and found physiotherapy to be a great field that combines his love of physical activity with his passion for anatomy and physiology. 

Steve has experience in treating a variety of orthopaedic conditions from routine to complex, including jaw, neurological and post-operative cases.  Steve has special clinical interests in sport therapy and in cervical spine dysfunction.  

Steve continues to take numerous continuing education courses since graduating from physio school in 2007. He enjoys the challenge of various physiotherapy approaches to best suit clients’ needs. His skillset includes acupuncture, dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and manual therapy, among others. He is a member of the Acupuncture Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Steve enjoys the challenge of problem-solving complex cases with his teammates, to ensure you receive the best care possible. 

Steve is an avid golfer, and has been a member of Erie Shores Golf and Country Club for many years.  After spending his entire career in the Tecumseh/Lasalle area, Steve is excited to begin practicing locally and to be better accessible to serve his community.

Tiffany is the voice you hear when you call Ireland Manual Physiotherapy and the first smiling face to greet you when you walk through our door. She works hard to ensure that your needs are met and questions are answered so that your physiotherapy experience goes as smoothly as possible.  She enjoys being a part of your physiotherapy journey from start to finish. 

When she is not at the clinic, she spends her time with her family. She enjoys being outdoors and helping others in any way that she can.
