Bike Fitting

Want to feel great while cycling? Get bike fitted with fellow cyclist and physiotherapist, Stephanie Rhea.

Optimizing your bike set up is an important element to preventing cycling injuries.

Our unique take on this fitting service is for the individual that is currently experiencing some aches and pains and/or just wants to feel more comfortable on their bike. Our fitting service is best suited for the leisure and recreational rider.

A professional bike fitting at Ireland Manual Physiotherapy involves asking questions about your body, aches and pains, past and current injuries, riding preferences and goals. We perform a physiotherapy assessment of you, as the rider, and address regions of stiffness, poor coordination, weakness or imbalanced muscle groups to help manage and prevent injury.

Steph takes this information into account as she then takes a look at how your bike is set up and how you interact with your bike for a truly customized fit. It involves an explanation for the modifications and tips on how to use the fit of the bike to your advantage. If needed, Stephanie will follow-up with you after you have had a chance to get a few rides in to ensure you are feeling your best.

For individuals that cycle at a competitive level, we would recommend you seek more technical guidance from a pro shop for your advanced set up needs.
